Welcome to Medina Foodservice – the Isle of Wight’s friendly family run catering wholesaler delivering all around the Isle of Wight, Hampshire and the New Forest.
As you probably already know, we expanded our delivery area further across the south coast a couple of years ago. Pleasingly this has grown year on year and we are now at the stage where we send ample volume to make it cost effective enough for us to purchase an articulated, refrigerated trailer. This cuts out relying upon a third party haulier to bring all our goods to us each day. In turn, we are helping the environment by keeping down the food miles and fuel usage. We also now have a store in Southampton which we use as a base for all our goods to go into and be distributed from.
We have also started operating a night shift to do the picking of orders, putting stock away and the loading of vehicles. This should now enable us to send our vans out earlier than was previously possible. This means we are also able to take in smaller and more frequent deliveries from suppliers to help keep stock rotating faster and give better availability to customers.
Prepared Fruit and Vegetables
Within our warehouse, we have extended this department so that we can now prepare any fruit and vegetables you require and deliver them to you, vacuum sealed for freshness. All we need is 24 hours notice to prepare them. Our range includes many products from pink grapefruit segments to coleslaw mix.
The Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company
A new company based here at our Riverway premises, is now manufacturing top quality dairy ice cream, called the Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company. This is going to be hugely interesting to many of our customers that pride themselves on offering products that are made and sourced on the Isle of Wight. Prices are very competitive and initially there are 12 flavours to choose from in 2.45, 4 and 4.45 ltr size tubs, giving you the choice to use what fits in your freezer best.
The ice cream is made with Isle of Wight milk and cream from Three Gates Farm. They also strive to use as much local fruit as possible, making it a truly local product.

Finally, I would like to personally thank all of our existing customers for the business that has been extended to us over the past years. Our aim is to be more competitive and to provide a better service than our rivals.
