Another Successful Catering Exhibition!

The impending snow didn’t stop over 260 businesses coming through the doors at Medina Foodservice’s latest catering exhibition! A healthy and steady footfall of people headed through the doors on 28th February at Robin Hill Country Park to test out the latest products and to make some unbeatable savings.

The team at the Isle of Wight College made sure everyone had warm food, with Dorset Tea and Rombouts keeping the tea and coffee flowing – enough for even the ice cream to go down well! Local suppliers Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company and Minghella, who were recently in the press following their merger and make their ice cream right next door, served up ice cream that the eskimos would be proud of!

There was a lot of support from other local exhibitors too including Calbourne Classics, the Tomato Stall and, new to Medina’s repertoire, Briddlesford Lodge Dairy Farm. Medina were also proud to exhibit their in-house butchery, which has now been established for over 70 years. Finally, not forgetting those that travelled across the country, battling snow and ice to get their products on display from large, big brand names to the newcomers – a fantastic range was on show.
Diners and retailers will be sure to benefit from the show too with new, exciting products being added to menus across the South next season.
