Following our strong and very wet Muddy Bull Run efforts on 22nd September, we were absolutely delighted to present the Joe Ellis Trust today with the funds that our customers, suppliers and friends so generously donated! The Trust was set up in loving memory of Joe Ellis, who died at the tender age of just 13 years, after being diagnosed with Primary Mediastinum large B cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Trust strive to help Isle of Wight children who have cancer and their families in their time of needed, whichever form that comes in. Over £3,250 was raised by 15 team members all taking part in the inaugural Muddy Bull Run which took place on Three Gates Farm, near Yarmouth. The mixed farm of over 450 acres offered variable terrain including a meandering river, dense woodland accommodating miles of pathways, scrubland, hardcore tracks and acres of open grassland - most of which ended up on us and, in some cases, a bit inside too! With your help, we've so far raised over £2,200 plus more in our collection tin in the office for the Joe Ellis Trust. From the bottom of our soon-to-be sweaty, muddy, pounding hearts... thank you.
