Medina’s team hit the Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Show, accompanied by local food producers, The Tomato Stall, Calbourne Classics and Isle of Wight Ice Cream Company.
The team led by Captain Medina himself, John Kennedy, certainly made their presence felt!
Highlights were of course Gary Richmond, Training Head Chef of River Cottage doing a couple of turns in the demonstration kitchen. Gary even took the time to give Steve Sharpe some recipe tips – we’re not sure how he got on with the recipes!
Feedback on Medina’s approach to sourcing local was extremely well received as customers look for that added freshness and lower food miles.
